8coin is our new form of 8coin currency, which you can earn when you share Specials, successfully complete Missions, invite friends to join 8coin, and so on. People who accumulate a lot of 8coins are people who are active members of 8coin and are influential sharers.

You will receive 8coins:

• per unique visit from the Special you share (max reward capped at 1,000 8coins per Special);
• per unique visit when sharing Bonus Coin Specials (max reward capped at 250 8coins per Bonus Coin Special);
• when activating your account;
• for each successful referral when you invite your friend to join 8coin using your Invite Friends sign-up link;

You can exchange your 8coins for cash. You can also exchange your 8coins for merchandise and e-Wallet currencies, as and when these items are available.

Your 8coins are reset to zero when you have not signed in to your account for more than 3 consecutive months. Don't worry, we'll send you email notifications to alert you on your wallet expiry before your earnings are reset. Make sure you stay active on 8coin! ;)

Accounts are suspended for 8coin Code Of Honour and Terms of Use violations or spam investigation.

Once your earnings have reached 10,000 8coins, you are eligible for Cashout. Upon completing the necessary information in your profile, you're allowed to submit a Cashout request so we can directly deposit your cash into your bank account. The process will be completed within 30 days.

The cash out process is divided into 3 stages:"

• Pending

  Once you submit your cash out request, your cash out status will be ‘Pending’.

• Verified

  We process all ‘Pending’ cash outs on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month unless announced otherwise

  If you have submitted your cash out request before either the 1st of 3rd Monday of the month, your cash out status will change from ‘Pending’ to ‘Verified’ after it’s been vetted by our security team. Once your cash out status is ‘Verified’, you will receive your money within 2 weeks, unless informed otherwise.

  Note: The cut-off date to submit your cash out request is a day before the cash out day. If you submit your cash out request on/after a cash out day, your cash out will be processed on the next cash out day.

• Completed

  Your cash out status will change from 'Verified' to ‘Completed’ once all the cash outs in your batch have been paid out. This is a reason why sometimes your cash out status does not change immediately once you’ve received your cash out in your bank account.

No, you can only request for one cash out at a time. If you have a ‘Pending’/’Verified’ cash out, you will not be able to make a new request until your cash out status has changed to ‘Completed’.

It would be best for you to sign up for one. Please take note that 8coin users are only allowed to cash out using their personal bank account. Users who are cashing out on behalf of their spouse / family members /friends are not allowed, your cash out will be rejected.

You are allowed to cash out a maximum of 50,000 (RM500) 8coins each time.

You are allowed to cash out once you have a minimum of 10,000 8coins (RM100). You are allowed to cash out with a minimum of 1000 8coins (RM10) in your first 30 days of signing up with 8coin.

A banking fee of RM1 applies for every cash out a user requests. We deduct that fee from the cash out amount itself. We inform you of this fee in our cash out email to you.

There are several reasons to why your cash out is rejected:

• Your identification number (IC) and/or bank account details are incomplete/incorrect.
• Your IC and/or bank account details match another 8coin member's.
• Our security team found a violation of the 8coin Code of Honour or Terms of Use from your 8coin account.
• Your account was suspended due to a Code of Honour Terms of Use violation at a time after your cash out request was receive.

Yes, you can cancel a ‘Pending’ cash out request. Please drop us a message via the ‘Talk To Us’ button on the right to do so. You cannot cancel a ‘Verified’ cash out request.

No, you can only request for one item at a time. If you have a ‘Pending’/’Verified’ redemption, you will not be able to make a new request until your redemption status has changed to ‘Completed’.

A Special is sponsored content that can range from anything like the latest movies, to games, events, products and contests which you can get rewarded for sharing it with your friends.

You will be given a unique URL link for every Special you broadcast - this link is used to track your unique visits. You will be rewarded for your unique visits as long as the Special is still running and its rewards are still available, until you have reached the maximum rewards for a particular Special.

You can always visit the Specials page and check your progress on the individual page of the Specials you have shared.

You can also go to your Dashboard as a centralised place to check your overall performance and stats of everything you've ever broadcasted on 8coin.

For members of 8coin, a unique visit (U.V.), is a click on a Special’s share link from a unique visitor that comes from within Malaysia. So, if a person has seen the contents of your Special somewhere else before, their visit to your Special does not count as a unique visit.

A unique visit via your unique URL gets rewarded the amount stated in the Specials you broadcast. You can normally earn between 5 - 20 8coins per unique visit.

Clicks will only be counted as a reward if the person who clicked on your link has never seen the Special before.

Example if a friend clicks on the Special link of someone else before clicking on yours, the reward will only go to the first link clicked on. This is called the unique visit.

Your earnings are updated every hour. If you are not getting any rewards for your visits, it is because:

• The visits you received are not unique.
• The Special has completed and all rewards for that specific Special have been given out.
• You have gained the maximum amount of reward for the specific Special you broadcasted. The maximum amount of reward you can earn normally ranges between 250 - 1,000 8coins. Please refer to your shared Special for the maximum reward amount.

No, you can only earn up to the maximum reward amount, and no more. We cap the maximum reward amount per user so that everyone has an equal chance to earn the rewards of a Special.

We strongly believe in genuine sharing, that is why sharers get different Specials based on their personal profile. All Specials on 8coin are specially catered according to our sharers based on their individual profiles. If you're unable to share a certain Special, it means that Special is not suitable for you. Here's an example of Specials relevance:

• An event in the far west is only shared by residents there due to geographical distance.

A Mission is a giveaway or contest you can participate in to earn cash and/or win cool prizes such as gadgets, vouchers, exclusive merchandise, and more.

Just head over to our Missions page and select your Mission of choice. Follow all the instructions listed in the Mission and fill in your details in the form provided in the Mission to submit your entry. After that, you just need to wait to see if your Mission is successful.

You will be emailed if you have successfully completed your Mission within its stipulated time and terms. The email will also contain details of your Mission reward. Each Mission will state a rough date of when successful participants will be contacted.

A Mission reward is the reward you earn if you successfully complete your chosen Mission. It can consist of anything from cash to items such as gadgets, vouchers, merchandise, and so on. Sometimes, we even give out multiple prizes (eg: cash and the chance to win a cool prize like a gadget or a voucher)!

Cash rewards will be awarded in the form of 8coins, unless stated otherwise. You can view your cash reward in the ‘Other Rewards’ section that is available in your Dashboard. Collection details for non-cash rewards/prizes will be stated in an email.

Yes, you can participate in as many active Missions as you want.

A Mission is locked if it has ended, or if all its rewards/prizes have been given out.

Like Specials, the availability of Missions can be seasonal. So, there may be times when you might have fewer Missions or none at all, and there may be times when you might get more Missions than normal. We are always doing our best to get more Missions for you guys, so it would be best to frequently check the site for updates.

In order to be rewarded, your friend(s) will need to:

• Sign up and fill in all information in their account profile
• Have earned 300 8coins from sharing Specials
• Once your invited friend(s) complete the steps above, your reward will automatically be credited to your 8coin wallet!

You are not given the access to change your date of birth, gender, phone number and email. If you wish to do so, email your details to [email protected]for further verification.

Sorry, but you cannot change your username.

You will still receive Specials to broadcast, however you may not receive every Special that's supposedly meant for you.

If you wish to permanently disable your account, please contact us via ‘Talk to Us’ button on the bottom right. Do provide a reason on why you want to disable your account. By disabling your account, you will not be able to sign-in to your account anymore.

Note : Once your account is disabled – there is no turning back.

Your account is disabled when you:

• click on the 'Disable my account' button in your own account;
• violate our Code of Honourand Terms of Useto the point where we have to suspend/ban you from our community. So, please share it right mmkay.
